An international electrical and automation solutions company is currently recruiting for a Low Voltage Product Engineer job to develop and execute effective marketing strategies for the company’s low voltage products and switchgear portfolios. You will be based in their Shah Alam office.

About the Low Voltage Product Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies for low voltage products and switchgear portfolios. You will collaborate with local and international sales and marketing teams as well as the corporate headquarters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise in technical marketing, market strategy, solution and application sales, business development, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement low voltage go-to-market strategies in close coordination with regional and global marketing teams
• Lead local Low Voltage technical application marketing and promotion to drive business growth, enhance the brand's image, and expand the customer base
• Provide expert support to customers and guide solution development by offering advice on design considerations and addressing technical, feasibility, and performance-related issues
• Train and support both customers and staff in low voltage application solutions to increase local sales awareness
• Cross sell other solutions and engage in prescription activities with consultants and end users
• Develop pre-sales technical and tendering support for the sales teams
• Define and communicate product value propositions and differentiators to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify suitable Low Voltage products for local launch, establishing pricing structures and product strategies
• Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitor assessment in collaboration with the sales team to formulate effective market plans, actions, and channels
• Analyse local market pricing for accurate product pricing structures and price lists, aligning with the commercial policy
• Collaborate with Global HQ and R&D departments to ensure continuous product development, integrating the latest customer insights and requirements

To succeed in this Low Voltage Product Engineer role, you will need to have a strong knowledge in low voltage electrical systems and switchgears.

Key Requirements:

• At least six years of experience in roles related to engineering, product marketing, design, or similar market-facing positions
• Strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage products/switchgears and solutions, particularly from competing companies
• Proficiency in value-based selling approaches and techniques
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for presenting ideas creatively and innovatively
• Demonstrated adaptability and professionalism
• Proven experience in leading and managing business processes, budgeting, and activities
• Passion for achieving results and keen attention to detail
