An international audio equipment manufacturer is seeking a Systems Engineer to carry out all system design, equipment installation and commissioning for clients. In this job, you will report directly to the Project Manager.

About the Systems Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of the equipment setup projects to agreed time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the system design based on the required specifications
• Carry out installation and commissioning of equipment on-site
• Carry out service, repair, calibration and testing of the equipment in accordance with the technical manual
• Perform all aspects of equipment maintenance, installation, testing, configuration, troubleshooting and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Perform necessary on-site troubleshooting, service and repair of customer's equipment or operating system issues
• Perform post-sales activities, including equipment installation, system commissioning, to ensure project smooth handover to customer
• Work closely with customer, provide technical knowledge or training to acquaint customers with know-how to optimise equipment
• Drive and manage system improvement activities
• Monitor service contract schedule and actively promoting service contract to customers

To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical hands-on knowledge in system design, installation and commissioning, preferably related to the audio equipment industry.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in electrical and electronic/telecommunications engineering or any related field of study
• Five years of experience in system support and commissioning, preferably within the audio-visual industry
• Prior experience from ELV/audio visual/public address/network and security industries is an added advantage
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
• Good analytically, with the ability to analyse problem and visualise with appropriate solutions
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication and human interaction skills
