Our client is seeking a Principal Licensing Engineer in the Petrochemical industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain long-term relationships with industry partners, negotiate license contracts and agreements, and represent the company brand at events. The successful candidate will be part of a multinational company that offers hybrid working mode and exposure to Asia Pacific markets.

What you'll do:

As a Principal Licensing Engineer in the Petrochemical industry, your role will be pivotal in maintaining long-term relationships with industry partners. You will be responsible for dealing with engineering services and catalysts supply, collecting, monitoring, analysing and sharing competitive intelligence to gain a competitive advantage. Your excellent negotiation skills will be utilised in negotiating license contracts and agreements as well as with stakeholders. Additionally, you may be required to take on special projects.

  • Maintain long-term relationships with industry partners
  • Deal with engineering services and catalysts supply
  • Collect, monitor, analyse and share competitive intelligence to gain competitive advantage
  • Represent the company brand at events
  • Negotiate license contracts and agreements
  • Negotiate with stakeholders

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Principal Licensing Engineer role will bring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. You should have knowledge in engineering design of chemical/gas plants and excellent negotiation skills. Your ability to maintain long-term relationships with industry partners will be crucial for this role. Experience in dealing with engineering services and catalysts supply is also preferred. Furthermore, your ability to collect, monitor, analyse and share competitive intelligence will give you an edge.
