They are seeking a Specification Engineer to manage the specification of their thermal and acoustic insulation products, develop relationships with owners/EPCs in the Energy sector and Non-Energy industrial sector, and identify innovation opportunities.
This role will also provide technical support related to their products to these relationship partners, driving positive long-term results.

What you'll do:
As a Specification Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing the specification of our client's innovative thermal and acoustic insulation products. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with owners/EPCs in both the Energy sector and Non-Energy industrial sector. Your role will involve providing comprehensive technical support related to their products to these relationship partners. You will prepare and present professional proposals that include technical solutions, financial solutions, technical calculations and overall cost savings for partners. Additionally, you will support site trials of new insulation solutions from the company.
- Provide technical support for Owners/EPCs/Contractors/Distributors/Partners in both Energy and Non-Energy Industrial sectors.
- Prepare and present professional proposals that include technical solutions, financial solutions, technical calculations and overall cost savings for partners.
- Support site trial of new insulation solutions from the company including site survey, design of insulation systems, site support of trial installation, performance monitoring, analysis and documentation of trial projects.
- Achieve product specification in projects through research to identify and establish connection with prospective partners.
- Organise site Meetings with Owners/EPCs /Contractors and advise them on the technical performance specifications for products.
- Engage with regional teams to ensure consistency in knowledge, advice & procedures.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Specification Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience from the oil & gas/energy industry. You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience working with international companies representing a range of products. Your excellent interpersonal skills coupled with your ability to manage reports effectively will be crucial in this role. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to present well and network effectively. A commercially focused mindset along with a strong customer focus is essential.
- Technical degree in Engineering/Science
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas/energy industry
- Proven track record with international companies representing a range of products
- Excellent interpersonal, management and report skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present well and network effectively
- Commercially focused, results oriented with strong customer focus
