What you’ll do
In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the seamless execution of bridge and civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you will navigate the entire project lifecycle—from meticulous planning to flawless delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with senior management to define project objectives and scope.
- Crafting detailed work plans for sequential project activities.
- Steering construction progress and resolving any construction-related challenges.
- Managing project staff in alignment with organizational policies and practices.
- Facilitating communication between internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining regular communication schedules with consultants and contractors to address any concerns.
- Ensuring accuracy in construction settings and overseeing necessary corrections.
- Upholding site safety, traffic management, and quality standards.
- Liaising with authorities and adjacent developers to streamline operations.
- Reviewing tender documents and addressing queries.
- Monitoring and reporting on construction progress concerning time, cost, and safety.
What you’ll bring

- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 15 years of experience in engineering construction, with a decade in major infrastructure projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, consultants, and government agencies.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication, coupled with analytical skills for solving technical and administrative issues.
- Flexible to relocate & travel throughout Peninsular Malaysia
