Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Township Planning Lead to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage planning teams in handling township concept master plans, master layout plans, and establishing Urban Design Guidelines (UDG).

What you'll do:
As a Township Planning Lead, you will be at the forefront of managing planning teams in handling township concept master plans, master layout plans, and establishing Urban Design Guidelines (UDG). Your role will involve preparing project briefs for proposed townships and developing procurement strategies. You will provide valuable input on urban development aspects and ensure that ESG/SDG principles are incorporated into all proposed master plans. Your ability to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders will be crucial in achieving approval milestones. Furthermore, your role will involve organising workshops and meetings with government officials to address development-related issues.
- Prepare project briefs of the proposed township
- Prepare Procurement Strategies (PS) together with the scope of works for the appointment of master plan team of consultants
- Provide inputs and recommendations on aspects of urban development in determining the best and most effective way to plan for development
- Ensure incorporation of ESG/SDG into the proposed master plan
- Coordinate with Program Management Unit and Project Teams in achieving milestones for approval
- Organise workshops among stakeholders of projects to promote dialogues and recognise different perspectives
- Organise meetings/discussions with government officials and stakeholders to address issues pertaining to the development
- Collaborate with Land Management in the application of SBK
- Establish a rapport and liaisons with the Local Authorities
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Township Planning Lead role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Town Planning / Real Estate / Architecture or a related field. With at least 10 years' experience in township planning for real estate / property development industries, you should be able to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment. Your excellent communication and writing skills in English will be essential in this role. Proficiency in ACAD, Land Matters, Planning, Masterplan, SBKS Process, sustainability, ESG, UDG is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Town Planning / Real Estate / Architecture or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in township planning for real estate / property development industries
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment
