What you'll do:

As Treasury Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with overseeing critical aspects of treasury operations that underpin the organisation’s continued success in the digital infrastructure sector.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners, negotiating services, fees, and facilities to ensure optimal financial arrangements for the organisation.
• Identify new financing channels and secure funding by preparing comprehensive reports and documentation that support ongoing financing activities.
• Establish and maintain robust banking structures, account mandates, and ensure full regulatory compliance across all treasury operations.
• Arrange, renew, or refinance credit lines, loans, and sustainability-linked financing for key projects supporting the company's growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to gather financial information such as project costs, capital requirements, and financing costs for loan applications and reviews.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documents for Know Your Client (KYC) processes and loan application requirements in a timely manner.
• Assist in negotiating loan documentation by coordinating with legal counsel and lenders to facilitate accurate processing of agreements.
• Liaise with valuers to conduct land or asset valuations required for loan applications and reviews, ensuring precise assessments are provided.
• Monitor compliance with loan conditions and covenants through diligent follow-up with relevant stakeholders across the business.
• Manage risks including liquidity challenges, foreign exchange exposure, and interest rate fluctuations by implementing robust treasury policies and controls.

What you bring:

To excel as Treasury Manager within this global data centre operator’s team in Kuala Lumpur, you will bring substantial experience gained from corporate treasury roles or financial institutions operating at regional or multinational scale.

• Demonstrated experience of 5–10 years in corporate treasury or financial institutions within regional or multinational environments is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing financing solutions and maintaining dependable banking relationships that support organisational objectives.
• Comprehensive understanding of financing documentation processes is considered an advantage for this role.
• Hands-on expertise in liquidity management practices including cash forecasting and working capital optimisation within complex operational settings.
• Previous experience within data centre operations, infrastructure development or real estate industries is preferred; background in financial services is also valuable.
• Exceptional communication abilities allow you to negotiate effectively with external partners while fostering positive stakeholder relationships internally.
