Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Investment Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be tasked with conducting general research on the financial markets and specific research on various asset classes.
What you'll do:
As an Investment Analyst, your primary role will involve conducting detailed research on various asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Conduct research on specific asset classes (equities, fixed income, and derivatives) or companies/industries themes to reach high conviction trades.
- Understand the needs of our business and develop strategies that help them meet investment objectives.
- Assist in preparing portfolio analysis, presentations, and proposals.
- Handle ad hoc tasks including developing marketing collaterals and research into relevant market and company-specific developments.
- Prepare and present weekly investment view.
- Organise monthly online conference for macro market outlook.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Investment Analyst position brings a strong knowledge of investment frameworks along with experience in creating libraries for research coverage across various asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of investment frameworks.
- Experience in creating libraries for research coverage and top ideas - FI, Equity, ETF, Mutual Fund, Alternatives investments and private deals.
- Ability to provide weekly executable trades (preferably in line with investment themes).
- Experience in portfolio review (Market update/ houseview, Portfolio consolidation excel, Investment ideas).
- Capability to make recommendations for new portfolios.
- Willingness to take on investment calls weekly and on an ad hoc basis.
- Experience in organising quarterly market updates with Investments Gurus (Banks, Financial partners, or Fund managers) is a plus.
- Mandarin speaker is a plus.
