About the Manager, ERM - Risk Management and Planning Role: This role mainly plans and manages risk management department projects and working groups and drives initiatives (including introducing relevant policies and frameworks and working with external vendors and consultants).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update to Head of ERM/CRO for the matter arising relating to risk governance and compliance (e.g. supervisory review, compliance, internal audit, etc)
Review policy/procedures related to Risk Appetite Framework and Risk Management Framework and ensure their compliance to the Head Office Risk Appetite Framework Rule
Perform monthly risk assessment and prepare the monthly Risk and Control Measures Dashboard
Ensure that the product and service align with regulations and effectively address the risk management needs
Responsible for end-to-end project management on the on-going project by coordinating stakeholders request as well as assisting with material preparation
Coordinate and collaborate with internal department planning to ensure that the project in risk management department deadline is meet
Produce reports as and when required by the Management in response to internal or external parties requirement e.g. Financial Accounting Department, BNM, RAM, Fitch, etc.
To succeed in the Manager, ERM - Risk Management and Planning job, you will need to assist the Head of Enterprise Risk Management in ensuring the success of the risk management processes.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of seven year's experience in financial institution, preferably in Enterprise risk management or Credit, Market/Liquidity Risk Management
Minimum of five year's experience in the areas of, policy review/development, stress testing/ valuation of financial instruments
Strong understanding on BNM requirement
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work across all levels of the organisation
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
