A well-known local entity is seeking a highly qualified candidate or a Senior Manager, Sustainability Strategy job. This is a role for a driven professional who is looking to make lasting impact to the organisation.
About the Senior Manager, Sustainability Strategy role:
In this business-critical role, you will be responsible to oversee the Bank’s overall sustainability programme and drive the sustainability initiatives towards achieving the Bank’s sustainability vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policies, plans and procedures to comply with EPF’s three new policies
- Assist the Head of Sustainability to drive bank’s compliance to BNM’s exposure draft on climate risk management and scenario Analysis
- Assist the Head of Sustainability to develop the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report annually as part of the suite of annual reports
- To drive the implementation of the ESG Framework
To succeed in the Senior Manager, Sustainability Strategy role, you will need to maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's/master’s degree
- At least 10 years of in-depth experience in sustainability with a preference for candidates from the finance sector or with an environmental and social risk background.
- Certifications: certified GRI reporting specialist, GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Professional
- Demonstrable experience in GRI, Integrated and TCFD Reporting standards
- Strong communication (verbal, written, graphic) skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Intermediate-high proficiency with the MS Office especially MS Excel
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
