Manager, Credit Risk Management

About the Manager, Credit Risk Management Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for preparing and/or reviewing regulatory reporting in particular Basel and provisioning (MFRS9) reports.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare timely reports pertaining to credit risk for submission and deliberation at management/board meetings and regulatory reporting
• Assess and monitor risk profile of credit portfolio
• Ensure appropriate action plans and contingency plans are in place to manage irregular matters (such as breaches and errors) and crisis situations respectively in CRM; including timely reporting to the management
• Ensure adequate and proper credit policies, procedures and supporting mechanisms in managing credit risks
• Manage and monitor the efficacy of credit policies, procedures and supporting mechanisms (credit organisational design, key performance indicators, incentives, training etc.) in controlling credit risk and making appropriate credit related recommendation

To succeed in this Manager, Credit Risk Management role, you will need to maintain a close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualifications in business, economics, accountancy, social sciences or related discipline
• Familiar with Islamic Window Operations and Reporting is an advantage
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years of banking-related experience, of which at least six years are in credit risk related areas
• Candidates with five or less years of experience may also be considered
• Presentation and writing, problem solving, interpersonal, project management and leadership skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
