AVP, Credit Risk Management

About the AVP, Credit Risk Management Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the bank-wide Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), including material risk assessment, sound capital management and regulatory submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of bank-wide stress testing/reverse stress testing, including scenario planning, financial modelling, cause-effect analysis, assessment of results, etc.
• Monitor the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) dashboard and conduct annual review on bank's risk appetite thresholds
• Hands-on experience in model development and familiar with the common methods for model validation
• Monitor the bank's top risk and Risk Heat Map (RHM) assessing both current and emerging top risks and its impact to the bank's operations
• Review and update the corporate risk related frameworks, policies and procedures
• Assist in the implementation of various initiative to meet regulatory requirements/ad hoc projects

To succeed in this AVP, Credit Risk Management role, you will need to maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accounting/finance/statistics/actuarial science/risk management or professional qualifications with five to seven years of relevant work experience
• Good working aptitude and strong interest in risk management
• Good aptitude, excellent analytical skill, critical thinking, strong communication and presentation skills and meticulous
• A self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision and a team player with good learning attitude
• Holder of risk management qualifications such as Bank Risk Management (BRM) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) is preferred or professional accountancy qualifications
