AVP, Non Traded Risk

About the AVP, Non Traded Risk Role:
In this business critical role, you will assist in evaluating new product proposals and providing feedback to the Head of ALM Framework and Risk Analytics to facilitate the product sign-off for ALM and liquidity risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in formulating/developing appropriate ALM frameworks for the group on managing ALM risk, which includes, inter alia, interest rate management policy, liquidity risk management policy, contingency funding plans, Basel III (LCR and NSFR), capital management, and ICAAP framework
• Assist in providing ad hoc advice to the Group Finance, financial markets, and other business units on ALM and treasury-related matters
• Participate in the development of stress testing for Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk as part of capital management
• Undertake periodic analytical initiatives and reporting on balance sheet structure, profitability, interest rate risk evaluation, net interest income
• Engage in initiatives to automate the ALM function within the bank

To succeed in the AVP, Non Traded Risk role, you will need to maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• University graduate or qualified professional with at least three years’ experience in banking and financial industry, with exposure to risk management (ALM)/internal audit/treasury dealing and operations/accounting
• Knowledge of ALM and liquidity principles/treasury principles/relevant regulations governing treasury operations and risk management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with aptitude for logic
