Private Equity Associate

A challenging yet exciting Private Equity Associate job has just become available at a renowned private equity fund management company.

About the Private Equity Associate Role:
In this business critical role, you will be supporting the Associate Director and Director in evaluating new investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to build financial models with three statements
• Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to conduct financial analysis
• Understand fundamentals of various valuation methods
• Ability to conduct industry study and build an understanding on business landscape
• Conduct commercial due diligence on potential targets
• Prepare discussion materials and approval papers for potential investments
• Prepare reports and updates on existing portfolios

To succeed in this Private Equity Associate role, you will need to have at least five years of relevant working experience in the big four, banks or equity related investment firm.

Key Requirements:

• Proven quantitative analytical skill to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of investment analysis
• Strong attention to details on work provided
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment to meet critical deadlines
• Team player
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written in English. Command of a second or third language is an advantage
• Experience in using Capital IQ and Bloomberg
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
