Trade Operations

An exciting opportunity in Trade Operations with an international middle office solutions company with remote working arrangement.

What you'll do:

a) Trade Processing & Settlement

• Accurately capture and validate trades across asset classes.
• Ensure timely matching and confirmation of trades with counterparties.
• Monitor exceptions and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Act as a liaison with brokers, custodians, and counterparties to ensure smooth trade settlement processes.

b) Cash & Position Reconciliation

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations to ensure records align with custodians, brokers, and administrators.
• Identify breaks or discrepancies in reconciliations and resolve them promptly.
• Provide transparent reporting for audit and compliance purposes.

c) Others

• Monitor corporate actions such as dividends, coupons, mergers, splits, etc., ensuring accurate tracking and election management.
• Process income events (e.g., dividend payments) accurately and on time.
• Post updates to portfolios promptly to reflect corporate action outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate performance reporting for client portfolios.
• Support attribution analysis by providing timely data inputs related to trades, positions, and income events

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in trade operations or middle office functions within financial services or asset management industries.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle processes across asset classes.
• Proficiency in reconciliation tools and systems.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
