About the Head of Operations Role:
This role has overall responsibility, with associated cost monitoring and service delivery for the bank's operations and client engagement and protection, information technology and IT security, permanent control, business continuity and physical security, general administration, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing a culture within Operations that creates a focus on high levels of client services and satisfaction
• Ensuring that agreed quality standards are met for both internal and external deliverables
• Effectively engaging with clients, investment managers, prospects and other relevant parties as part of BAU service delivery and in support of new business initiatives
• Being effective, creative and support to Business developments
• Ensuring appropriate resourcing for change specifications, test and implementation
• Meeting operational risk incident objectives
• Setting up and running appropriate operational risk structure in coordination with the Operational Risk Manager

To succeed in this role, you are required to possess experience in covering banking operations especially corporate banking and investment banking segments.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in the domains falling under the scope of ITO with exposure to finance and IT management experience is required
• An experienced and strategic team leader with integrity, maturity and judgement. Needs to understand how to develop a dedicated performance-driven team
• Committed to motivating and developing team members in a supportive and energetic environment that will in turn enable the team to achieve its goals in a positive and sustained way
• Demonstrated experience at enabling your teams to work effectively with others, applied in this environment it will assist the division to deliver against its strategic goals
• Ability to communicate freely and openly both upwardly managing expectations and reporting on service delivery - and in assisting other operations teams to deliver against their goals
