A rapidly expanding financial institution is seeking an experienced candidate for a Project Manager, Transformation role. This job is for someone who has experience in the financial services industry and is able to converse in Chinese. In this job, you will manage regional transformation projects.

About the Project Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of one or more projects proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, team, outcomes and benefits. You will work closely with the stakeholders to ensure alignment of their project with the wider change portfolio and the group strategy, values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce a well-defined project plan in clarity, dictate the key milestones and assign responsibilities/resources
• Ensure the baseline scope, requirements, benefits, schedule, and budget are managed as outlined in business transformation frameworks
• Collaborate and build positive stakeholder relationships providing regular updates, obtains buy-in from the project sponsor, steering committee and other stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements
• Proactively monitor project execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and share the resource requirements of the project to the Programme Manager, requesting the appropriate skill set and/or experience

To succeed in this Project Manager, Transformation role, you will need to be able to communicate in Chinese as this role supports the Asia Pacific region (Taiwan, China and Hong Kong) and have good experience in end-to-end project management.

Key Requirements:

• Understanding of the project lifecycle
• Understanding of business transformation frameworks and best practice techniques
• Strong understanding of banking industry
• Agile/scrum methodologies of project delivery
• Domain knowledge on any of the following: Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Risk, Compliance, Payments and understanding of the purpose, value, culture, and fundamentals of global transformation
• Good stakeholder management experience
