A well-known financial institution is seeking an experienced candidate for an AVP, Central Strategy Team (Projects) job. This role is for someone who has experience in projects, BA and PMO for financial services.

About the AVP, Central Strategy Team (Projects) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the respective business units to ensure follow ups and projects are on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage strategy-related work e.g. assisting to prepare presentation slides for board, etc.
• Liaise and coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders (showcases, training workshops, etc.) following up on key action items
• Identify and monitor the resource requirements and resource mobilisation for reporting
• Manage ad hoc matters which requires attention under the department in terms of support to the initiative owners
• Assist in tracking of action items in key committees
• Track the key metrics committed
• Draft key notes in discussions in order to identify the next steps of action
• Track cost expenditure and headcount

To succeed in this AVP, Central Strategy Team (Projects) role, you will need to have a strong project experience and be able to handle data.

Key Requirements:

• Strong in communication skills (verbal and written), PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Organised and structured in thinking, can work under tight timeline and under pressure.
• Agile skills and methodology would be advantageous
• Experience and exposure to strategy related departments
• PMO experience with financial background is preferred
• Someone who has previous consultancy experience would be advantageous as they would have worked on project related tasks and multitasking projects
