Deposit and Remittance Services (DRS)

A rapidly expanding financial institution is looking for a talented candidate for a Deposit and Remittance Services (DRS) job in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Deposit and Remittance Services (DRS) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for handling remittance and deposit transactions and cover global payments such as outward and inward SWIFT payments, cross-border pooling a local payments such as IBG, RENTAS, direct debit and cheque transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle remittance and deposit transactions and cover global payments such as outward and inward SWIFT payments, cross-border pooling a local payments such as IBG, RENTAS, direct debit and cheque transactions. Knowledge in deposits is a plus point
• Handle Cash BOP reporting by ensuring customer payment purposes are duly submitted to Bank Negara for regulatory reporting and Foreign Exchange Policy rules
• Check and approve all transactions of the department within the limits authorised by the management
• Assist section head in leading the department and guiding the staff to achieve the target of the department

To succeed in the Deposit and Remittance Services (DRS) job, you will need to have the ability to work different hours according to the APAC countries such as Vietnam, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh, etc. You must also have the required knowledge as mentioned above.

Key Requirements:

• Prepared to work on Malaysia public holidays if being assigned to handle other country's transactions. Replacement leave or encashment of leave will be given
• Good knowledge in statutory requirements and/or related rules
• Specialisation in banking/financial services or shared service centres or equivalent is preferred
• At least five years' relevant working experience in the related field
• At least a diploma, advanced/higher/graduate diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree or master's degree in any field
