Project Manager, Finance Change Delivery (AVP/VP)

A rapidly expanding international bank is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Finance Change Delivery (AVP/VP) in Kuala Lumpur to take on this role in a newly expanded team. In this job, you will be managing projects, in a complex environment, ideally in a large organisation spanning many countries and jurisdictions with multiple delivery partners.

About the Project Manager, Finance Change Delivery (AVP/VP) Role:
Finance Cloud Transformation (FotC) will rationalise operational processes, automate data and report production, to deliver comprehensive data to the internal and external stakeholders for analysis and reporting. You will be required to work with business customers/stakeholders, delivery teams and other impacted parties to ensure that in-scope issues are investigated, understood, a route to resolution identified and prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain plans for resolution of each in-scope item – including identification of resources and management of them
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Run finance-related projects
• Deliver a singular automated data production processing capability for actuals and forecasting, correction of data once for all downstream calculations, reports and outputs
• Manage delivery to agreed milestones

To succeed in this Project Manager, Finance Change Delivery (AVP/VP) role, you will need to be conscious of wider programme change taking place across the business and understand the impact of processes and timescales for deployment.

Key Requirements:

• Good track record of managing projects, in a complex environment, ideally in a large organisation spanning many countries and jurisdictions with multiple delivery partners
• Experience delivering with other large scale finance change and technology based projects
• Experience with conducting workshops
• Experience with building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including technology/technical
• Ability to communicate at all levels and across countries/regions/cultures is essential
