Project Manager

An exciting Project Manager job has become available at one of the financial institutions based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management Office, this is a role for candidates looking to take up a challenge and a stepping stone into the asset management industry.

About the Project Manager Role:
This role manages and organises the firm's strategic and cross functional complex projects and programs and ensures the initiatives are delivered with the desirable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects end-to-end within predefined timeline, budget, scope and quality

• Plan, orchestrate and execute all actions to be implemented with stakeholders and vendors

• Collaborate with other project managers in managing projects inter-dependencies

• Manage project financials and budget per guidelines

• Work with stakeholders and vendor-partner in resolving issues and risk mitigation actions

• Prepare progress report and facilitate progress update to the Steering Committee

To succeed in this Project Manager role, you will need experience implementing CRM, Agency Management System, digital channels and back office systems.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification is an advantage
• Minimum of five years' experience as a project manager, with a proven track record in delivering medium to large scale projects
• Solid understanding of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management tolls such as Jira, Trello or equivalent
• Knowledge in asset management or the financial services industry
