An interesting Manager, Business Banking Analytics job has become available at one of the big banks based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Manager, Business Banking Analytics Role:
This role will be working closely with the business banking team to provide insights and analytics to influence decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive MIS process improvements and initiatives for business banking as a whole, i.e. across the sector, regions and BCs
- Represent business banking in the bank’s projects
- Improve the processes for MIS extraction, collation and analytics process via SAS or relevant software to support business banking’s strategic decision making
- Provide training and transfer knowledge to other units in business banking in relation to data extraction and analytics
- Achieve a “zero reporting” status for business banking
- Operational risk
To succeed in this role, you must posses R, Python and other programming skills necessary for analytics.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in banking/finance/business/mathematics/computer science
- Knowledge and skills in SQL/SAS/Python/R programming
- Excellent command of oral and written communication in English
- Ability to perform under pressure in meeting tight deadlines, independent and a good team player
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various people on all levels
- Enjoys working with data sets (i.e. analytics)
