Equity Research Analyst

An exciting opportunity just opened up for a Equity Research Analyst to join a reputable asset management firm based in KL.

What you'll do:

• Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and markets to identify investment opportunities and present actionable ideas to the Portfolio Manager and investment team.
• Monitor economic, market, and company developments, providing timely updates and insights to support portfolio management decisions.
• Assist in managing portfolios by analyzing holdings' performance, recommending adjustments, and contributing to overall strategy discussions.
• Prepare periodic client reports, performance analyses, and presentation materials for existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and investment team to address client inquiries and ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management with good financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
