An exciting Senior Global Equity Portfolio Manager job has just become available at one of the renowned international asset management firms.

About this Senior Global Equity Portfolio Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be managing the global fund as well as conducting research of listed companies and key economic developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Look at global and/or Asia Pacific equities
• Actively manage institutional and/or retail portfolios of equities
• Identify attractive investment opportunities or trends in various equity strategies as well as undesirable style drift, unexpected performance trends, or other adverse developments; and develop and implement action plans
• Engage on both retail and institutional levels
• Articulate effectively about global investment strategy positioning and investment processes
• Source, analyse and update economic data for reporting & fund management purposes (i.e. Board Reports, Exco and Investment Committee)
• Review all proposals for stock addition to and deletion from database and make recommendation to the Head of Equity

To succeed in this role, you must have at least five years of experience in managing global/Asia Pacific equity funds.

Key Requirements:

• University or higher degree (preferably finance or economics)
• CFA Charterholder or Candidate is an advantage
• Sound and developed investment analysis skills
• Well-articulated, thorough, consistent, and logical investment process
• Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written
• Ability to initiate and implement change
• Embraces team work
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg, programming language and quant analysis is an advantage
