SVP, Equity Capital Markets

An opportunity has arisen for a SVP, Equity Capital Markets to join a highly respected investment banking team based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll do:

• Prepare comprehensive materials for origination efforts as well as execute live transactions in the equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions space.
• Present research findings and analysis to internal stakeholders and clients in a clear and compelling manner.
• Conduct thorough due diligence processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of all transaction-related information.
• Develop detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses to support deal structuring and decision-making.
• Assist with administrative duties such as coordinating roadshows, preparing reports, printing documentation, and managing logistics for client meetings.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or Finance-related discipline is essential for this position.
• Prior experience within investment banking—especially having completed deals in Southeast Asia—is highly desirable for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity by meticulously fact-checking all work undertaken before submission or presentation is vital.
• Exceptional analytical skills combined with the capacity to devise creative solutions when faced with complex problems are necessary attributes.
