Director, Corporate Finance - Equity Markets

What you'll do:
As Director, Corporate Finance – Equity Markets, you will lead the Bank’s corporate finance team. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Senior Personnel (QSP) under the SC and will play a pivotal role in advising clients on equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, placements, takeovers, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
• Lead and manage ECM corporate finance advisory mandates, providing strategic and technical
guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Act as a QSP, ensuring compliance with SC regulations and overseeing the preparation and
submission of SC filings and prospectuses.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, auditors, lawyers, and other
stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members to build a high-
performing corporate finance team.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities in the equity capital
markets.
• Ensure all transactions adhere to internal risk and governance standards.

Key Requirements:
• Must be a Qualified Senior Personnel (QSP) recognized by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate finance advisory, with a strong focus on Equity Capital
Markets.
• Proven track record in managing ECM transactions: IPOs, rights issues, placements, takeovers, and
corporate restructuring.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian capital markets, Bursa Malaysia regulations, and SC guidelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA,
CA) are a plus.
