Fixed Income Distribution

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Distribution Specialist to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to identify, build and broaden the Institutional customer distribution network for Fixed Income. The successful candidate will lead Debt Capital Markets for fixed income primary deals and drive cross-selling across all financial market products. They will also ensure compliance with policies and procedures at all times

What you'll do:

As a Fixed Income Distribution Specialist, your main responsibility will be to build and broaden the distribution network.

• Identify and onboard Fixed Income Institutional investors
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors to deepen share of business
• Identify potential Issuers to provide leads to DCM for deal origination
• Update the team on market condition and levels
• Identify investors for the issuance
• Lead on the sell down and profiting on trading gain whenever possible
• Manage buy/sell orders from investment book portfolio manager
• Ensure compliance to external and internal guidelines and limits

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Fixed Income Distribution Specialist role should have at least 5 years’ experience in Treasury Sales, directly in Fixed Income and broadly covering the range of financial market products (i.e. Money Market, FX and Fixed Income).

• Ability to identify issues, problems and opportunities for execution
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Excellent analytical skills
• Must possess Dealer License issued by Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM)
• Understanding of economic and market development
