Our client is seeking a seasoned Corporate and Institutional Coverage Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in originating and structuring transactions to secure mandates for the bank, ensuring alignment with product team capabilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving client relationships and business growth, collaborating with various product groups to deliver services required by Investment Banking clients.

- Drive business growth by originating and securing profitable transactions.
- Lead client origination efforts to establish and strengthen client relationships.
- Negotiate fees and terms to optimize the bank’s financial returns.
- Secure mandates by engaging clients and aligning services with their needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to position the bank as a top player in the Corporate & Institutional sector.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in the market to enhance business origination.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals to secure new business.
- Monitor the progress of mandated transactions to ensure timely and successful execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
- Manage client relationships holistically, ensuring strong rapport and consistent communication.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Corporate and Institutional Coverage Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in Investment Banking.
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Investment Banking with specific exposure to products such as Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, and Equity Capital Markets.
- A CMSRL (Capital Markets Services Representative’s License) holder.
- Proven track record of originating and securing profitable transactions.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience optimizing financial returns.
- Experience developing strategies within the Corporate & Institutional sector.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and enhance business origination.
- Experience preparing high-quality proposals for new business acquisition.
- Knowledge of internal policies, regulatory standards, and client expectations within banking industry.
- Excellent relationship management skills with a focus on maintaining strong rapport and consistent communication.
