An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and committed Private Equity Associate/Manager to join a renowned private equity firm
What you'll do:
As a Private Equity Associate/Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the investment journey.
- Creating financial models, analysing financial statements and preparing valuation analyses
- Evaluating investment opportunities including conducting relevant analyses, formulating business plans and developing investment proposals
- Conducting commercial due diligence on potential targets
- Preparing discussion materials and approval papers for potential investments
- Engaging with portfolio company management, developing business strategy papers, reviewing financial performance
- Monitoring assigned portfolio companies, including periodic management calls, strategy steering, preparation of periodical reports on the portfolio companies’ performance and implementing exit strategies
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Private Equity Associate/Manager role brings a wealth of experience in consultancy, direct equity, corporate finance or investment analysis.
- Proven quantitative analytical skill to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of investment analysis
- Good business acumen / understanding of businesses
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to engage with senior management
- Strong attention to detail on work provided
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment to meet critical deadlines
- Team player with strong interpersonal skill and willingness to learn
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written in English. Ability to command in a second or third language is an advantage
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
