Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Vice President for their Corporate Finance division. This role is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, providing advisory services to clients, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What you'll do:
As the Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the team.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the team
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff in job execution and implementation
- Direct the team's growth and financial targets
- Ensure consistency of corporate finance transactions with market principles and regulatory requirements
- Offer advisory services to clients
- Resolve issues arising from jobs
- Liaise with regulators on job-related submissions
- Monitor billing and fee collection from clients
- Review announcements, circulars, submissions, and offering documents related to corporate finance transactions
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Vice President - Corporate Finance position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field.
- Licensed Corporate Finance Representative
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies or Law Studies
- Minimum five years of experience in corporate advisory/accounting/auditing/finance
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, listings, securities issues, and corporate finance transactions
- Supervisory roles for at least 3 years in relevant corporate finance work
- Understanding of rules, regulations, and guidelines issued by SC, Bursa Securities, BNM and MITI
