Our client is seeking a Business Strategy Associate to join their dynamic team.
What you'll do:
As a Business Strategy Associate, your role will be pivotal in identifying business growth opportunities within the retail banking space and SME segments.
- Identify business growth opportunities and devise strategies within the retail banking space and SME segments
- Work closely with business units to identify areas of opportunities and develop value propositions
- Facilitate deep dive diagnostics and analysis on areas of concerns for markets beyond Malaysia
- Devise presentation materials for senior management team and business leaders’ discussion and decision-making
- Assist in the development and execution of regional strategies and plans
- Identify and analyse performance indicators/ measures to provide independent feedback on line of business’ and sectors’ performance
- Produce monthly performance report for Group EXCO and Board of Directors discussion
- Run cross-functional working team meetings efficiently and effectively, focusing on design and execution of key initiatives
- Monitor and analyse project schedule, cost and resource planning to ensure projects can be completed on time
- Plan, prepare and provide oversight on internal and external engagements/events
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Strategy Associate role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.
- Degree in Business Admin/ Economics/ Accounting or any relevant fields
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consultancy, financial services industry
- Strong financial analytics and planning skills
- Logical and strategic thinking abilities
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure, meet short deadlines
