An exciting Syndicate Fixed Income Manager job has just become available at a locally established regional financial institution to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Syndicate Fixed Income Manager Role:
Reporting to Head of Syndicate Fixed Income, you will be responsible to conduct the book building process, provide on-going advice on pricing and timing recommendations as well as book building strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in close collaboration with the regional debt capital market’s origination and structuring teams and, the fixed income sales team across the global markets network
• Continuously engage potential issuers, providing relevant market updates and general investor feedback/preferences
• Liaise and engage select key investors for general market feedback and work closely with global market sales and trading teams to continuously acquire deep appreciation of the market sentiment and investors interests
• Utilise such information to formulate effective solutions to issuers, giving advice on timing recommendations, bond pricing/comparable, target investors and the appropriate distribution strategy
• Coordinate and organise investors presentations and road shows
• Advise on final issue size and allocations to investors

To succeed in this role, you must have minimum two years of work experience in debt capital market or fixed income sales.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/economics/finance
• Possession of PPKM license is an advantage
• Strong interests in financial markets, globally and domestically
• Strong communication skills and desire to network
• Good analytical skills and aptitude for numbers
• Ability to multitask, work independently and within deadlines
• Comfortable with Bloomberg and other fixed income valuation/pricing methodologies
