Head of Takaful

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Takaful to spearhead the overall direction of their unique takaful provider.

• Provide exceptional leadership, direction, stakeholder management and insights to the Management and the Board
• Oversee day-to-day management of the company’s activities
• Ensure alignment with the risk strategy, including risk appetite and policies
• Maximise profitability in alignment with shareholder, customer, employee, and public interests

To succeed in this role, you are required to possess experience in takaful insurance, particularly sales and distribution.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Takaful position brings more than 15 years of experience in insurance or takaful or relevant fields.

• Bachelor’s degree or preferably master’s degree in takaful or professional takaful certificates such as CII, MII, ANZIIF
• Prior PO or significant C-Suite management experience in similar-sized organisations
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Insurance/Takaful operations
• Ability to drive strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, proficient in long-term planning and forecasting
• Strong business acumen with relevant knowledge in Insurance/Takaful Business Planning and Operations
