An insurance company is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Insurance), for someone who has experience within the insurance industry. In this job, you will manage insurance wide projects.
About the Project Manager (Insurance) Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for planning, optimising and managing the delivery of system enhancements to meet business demands.
Initiate, plan, and manage projects ensuring their successful and timely delivery
Ensure compliant with project governance
Resolve issues and mitigate risks
Manage project plan and execution approach, project financial, progress update, challenges/escalation
To succeed in this Project Manager role, you will need to have strong project management experience within the general insurance industry.
Excellent understanding of the project life cycle
Professional certification in project management is preferred, but certified PMP and/or certified Scrum Master is an advantage
At least five years of experience in managing projects and system implementation/enhancement, with at least one full lifecycle of system implementation
Process reengineering experience
Risk and issues management skills
Good stakeholder management experience
Experience in managing Agile projects as Scrum Master is an advantage
