About the IFRS 17 BNM Reporting, Manager Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements/reports in line with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) requirements and datelines by using financial models and accounting system tools. You will assist in month-end journals entries posting in accounting system in order to prepare full set of financials and assist in variance analysis of financial results and providing meaningful commentary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IFRS 17 BNM reports and submissions
• Be involved in TB checking during closing
• Be involved in month-end closing activities for finance reporting
• Participate in various project enhancement of business-as-usual workflow
• Undertake finance initiatives and projects
• Undertake ac hoc and perform other relevant duties and assignments as and when required

To succeed in this IFRS 17 BNM Reporting, Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of experience in relevant and related job functions/roles
• Ability to adapt and learn fast, diligent, trustworthy and have strong initiative to learn
• Results-oriented, committed, team player, positive working attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate, especially in MS Office
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with reporting/accounting packages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
