About the Head of Banca, General Insurance Role:
As the Head of Banca, General Insurance, you will be leading and developing the Bancassurance team within the Distribution Office in support of the overall strategic plan of Chief Distribution Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing and monitoring strategies, marketing, product initiatives and operational capabilities to drive Bancassurance channel growth and profitability
• Managing the Bancassurance team to achieve sales targets and deliver the required levels of servicing
• Managing overhead cost and management expenses at the agreed level
• Developing and implementing market and sales strategy, relationship management to increase sales and profitability of Banca channel
• Achieving Banca channels GWP target
• Collaborating with underwriting to ensure excellent/improve service level to customers/intermediaries to meet customers/stakeholder expectations
• Developing and strengthening relationships with Banca partners to ensure long lasting business relationships
• Improving the company's branding and presence within the channel
• Ensuring effective implementation of customer service and relationship building to develop and sustain a customer-centric business environment
• Driving superior sales support system, ensure internal systems and processes are optimised for Banca channels
• Ensuring continuous improvement of business output, customer supports, operation structure and use technology to achieve greater process efficiency and maximise output
• Collaborating with cross-functional management to achieve strategic goals
• Underwriting all classes of business within the given authority limits and liaising with underwriting on risk retention where appropriate
• Ensuring underwriting practice and acceptance of risk are in line with the company's underwriting guidelines
• Driving compliance within the Banca team including audit, UAL authority and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
• Developing outstanding internal capabilities in NM Commercial Underwriting
• Providing leadership, coaching and develop the sales, operation and underwriting aspects to achieve the growth goals
• Ensuring and executing succession planning

In order to succeed in this Head of Banca, General Insurance role you should have at least 10 years of experience in the General Insurance industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in any related field
• Preferably with certifications from MII
• Minimum of five years in a senior sales and distribution role
