About the Head of Sales (Bancassurance) Role:
In this business-critical role are responsible for achieving the business targets and business development initiatives. Ensure implementation of plans to support growth objectives.
• Identifying and developing existing and new business opportunities.
• Overseeing and managing Credit Life business, Account Management and Business Support.
• Assist in developing strategies, formulate sales and action plans for lead generation initiatives, inclusive of goal- setting, funnel management, campaigns and report design.
• Collaborate effectively with all cross-boundary department and business partners to ensure quality development/implementation of strategy and key stakeholder buy-in.
• To perform and ensure day to day tasks are consistent with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
• To adhere to standards, codes and guidelines set by the BNM, PII, Company, Division/Department at all time.
• Conduct regular competency and performance review of subordinates to ensure high performance delivery.
• Develop succession planning program for subordinates.
To succeed in the Head of Sales (Bancassurance) job, you will need to develop business relationships with senior management levels & others to support business growth, encourage an environment of collaboration, teamwork within and across teams.
• At least a degree holder in any field.
• Minimum 18 years of related experience with strong business acumen.
• Track records in sales, profit, sales management and business development.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to articulate in a logical and structured way.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain trusted relationships.
• Good problem solver and negotiation skills.
• Good team player and customer centric oriented.
• Able to work with stakeholder Internals Liaisons: Bancassurance team, Finance, Operations, Legal & Risk Management, Compliance team, D-Ops, Marketing, Channel Management and Corporate Communication, External Liaisons: Bank, new partners
