Trade Operations FICC

An exciting opportunity in Trade Operations with an international investment firm based in KL, Malaysia with remote working arrangement.

You will be joining the Trade Operations team, where they will take on a range of essential daily responsibilities that ensure the seamless functioning of the fund. These tasks span multiple asset classes, including Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Equities, Futures, and Options.

The position requires a motivated individual with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

1. Trade Lifecycle Management

   • Oversee all aspects of trade lifecycle events, including trade matching, confirmations, and settlements.
   • Manage NDF fixings, option exercises, futures/swap expiry, funding for trade settlements, and booking corporate action events.

2. Query Resolution

   • Provide timely responses and solutions to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
   • Collaborate with brokers to address issues during EMEA/US trading hours.

3. Reconciliation

   • Conduct daily reconciliation of trades and positions across the Portfolio Management System, Fund Admin System, Prime Broker statements, and internal risk systems to ensure accurate position reflection.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Equity Swaps, Futures and Options, FX, Fixed Income, OTC derivatives, and other related instruments.
• Solid understanding of hedge fund trade flow processes.
• Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
• A team player who can also work independently when required.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
