Finance Analyst

This role is designed to build cross-functional capabilities across finance functions to support business continuity and scalability, working closely with the Finance Managers and CFO. The position offers strong learning exposure across private equity fund structures, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Fund & Investment Operations

  • Support fund accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Assist with capital calls and distributions, including preparation of relevant documentation.
  • Monitor cash flows and support treasury functions across fund entities.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders.
  • Provide support for audit and tax compliance processes related to funds and investment structures.

Corporate & Management Company Finance

  • Assist in accounting and financial reporting for management companies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support budgeting processes, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Handle payment processing, staff claims, and maintenance of financial records.

Portfolio Monitoring & Management Reporting

  • Support tracking of portfolio performance and maintenance of financial data.
  • Assist in preparing periodic management reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Compile and summarize financial information at both fund and firm levels, including expenses, cash flow, and key portfolio metrics.

Compliance & Regulatory Support

  • Assist with regulatory filings and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for internal controls and external regulatory purposes.
  • Liaise with external consultants on compliance-related matters when required.

Process Improvement

  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and internal documentation.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and strengthening financial controls.

General & Administrative Support

  • Provide support on operational and administrative matters as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating firm-wide activities such as meetings, events, and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit background.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) or currently pursuing is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/tools.
