They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Malaysia, to support their Finance Team in the United Kingdom. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Finance Team operates efficiently and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, your role will be integral to the efficient operation of our client's finance team. You will be responsible for month-end financial reporting, producing comprehensive board packs, supporting strategic planning, overseeing customer payments reconciliation, preparing VAT returns, and managing payroll.
- Production of a Board Pack which includes financial and non-financial information.
- Supporting the CFO in the production of quarterly re-forecasts, annual budgets and longer-term strategic plans.
- Overseeing the reconciliation and settlement of customer payments.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and updating any partial exemption methodology.
- Preparation of FCA EMI Reporting per FCA timetable.
- Preparation of Year End Financial Statements and support during Statutory Audits.
- Overseeing of the monthly payroll run, supplier payments and general HR and office management duties.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial management.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience and either ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified (Essential).
- Experience of partial exemption UK/EU VAT methodology, or similar VAT complications (Essential)
- Experience of FCA regulatory capital reporting, at a Bank, Electronic Money Institute or similar business (Desirable)
- Pro-active approach with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective leadership skills with ability to set clear direction for the team.
- Excellent communication skills – able to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.
- Positive attitude with willingness to grow.
