Our client is seeking a Senior Manager for their Accounting Management team.
This role is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur and offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operation procedures, ensure correct system input, and implement internal control on accounts.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager in Accounting Management, your role will be pivotal in overseeing financial operations and ensuring correct system input. Your ability to improve the operation of the financial system through developing functional specifications for approved enhancements and resolving technical problems will be highly valued.
- Monitor irregular items daily such as fees income, new APCODE, new Product Code, high risk and new Transaction Code.
- Ensure the completeness and quality of policies and procedures of accounting management team.
- Provide advice to Business Units and Branches’ in relation to payment process flow, application process on GL code, adjustment entries for business related issues, accounting process related to system.
- Supervise the team on FMS and MJE system process to ensure the accounting records are accurate.
- Coordinate Finance Department and Branches’ accounting voucher filing by conducting self-inspection to ensure compliance with policy guideline.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in relation to accounting issues.
- Provide inputs/requirements to implement any system enhancement or automated report production.

- Proven experience in overseeing financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in managing a team within a finance department.
- Ability to develop policies and procedures for an accounting management team.
- Experience liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Knowledge of FMS and MJE system processes.
- Ability to provide advice on payment process flow, application process on GL code, adjustment entries for business related issues, accounting process related to system.
