What you'll do:
- As a Finance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that an effective control environment exists within the organisation.
- Ensure an effective control environment in terms of accounting, treasury, payments, and reporting systems.
- Monitor minimum capital requirements and escalate any potential breaches.
- Deliver all reporting requirements, including internal performance tracking, FCA reporting, and statutory returns.
- Manage the development and production of financial models to support strategic plans, operating budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
- Identify and provide expert advice on all financial implications and opportunities to improve performance.
- Deliver coaching, training, and constructive feedback to direct reports.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Lead role brings a wealth of experience in financial management.
- An undergraduate degree
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification
- Experience with partial exemption VAT methodology
- Experience establishing international subsidiaries and UK consolidated group structures
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under minimal direction
- Excellent communication skills
