About the Head of Finance and Operations Role:
In this vital role for the business, you will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting matters, including accounts receivable, fixed assets and monthly accounts closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily finance operational issues
• Oversee timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports
• Comply with group and regulatory reporting requirements
• Inter-company reporting and reconciliation
• Prepare surveys & statistical reporting
• Cash flow management
• Ensure effective internal controls, review work processes and make recommendations for improvements
• Assist in yearly budgets and forecasts, and preparation of board papers
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and manage audit requirements
• Work with tax advisers to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Participate in testing and implementation of accounting related systems
• Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments
• Work with the middle office team to automate and improve work processes and reduce operational risks, resolve issues raised by team members or to escalate to COO South Asia for decision making.
• Work with support and IT staff on system issues, system testing and follow-up on outstanding issues till they are resolved while assisting in new system implementation an ad hoc projects

To succeed in this Head of Finance and Operations role, you will need to handle daily financial operational issues and provide oversight, support and guidance to the middle office team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Several years in finance and operations with leadership experience
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ability to optimise operational processes for efficiency
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Aligning finance and operations with business goals
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication skills for conveying insights
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Ability to collaborate with different departments and build relationships
