About the Business Auditor, Credit Role:
In this business critical role, you will need to play a crucial role in evaluating and ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our credit-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Internal Audit/Unit Head – Business Audit in the development of the internal audit strategies, standards and policies
• Ensure that the audit programmes are prepared and updated periodically
• Plan for the audit engagements including the scope and objectives of the individual audits
• Supervise and ensure that the audit engagements are completed within the budgeted time line
• Review and evaluate completed work, observations and recommendations for accuracy, adequacy and documentation leading to preparation of audit report

To succeed in the Business Auditor, Credit role, you will need to maintain the financial health of the organisation and ensure adherence to industry regulations by performing credit evaluation, risk assessment, and financial analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Eight years of banking related experience of which a minimum of five years audit experience in the area of corporate credit and trade financing operations of both conventional and Islamic banking
• Good understanding of overall corporate governance, risk management, compliance and AML/CFT approaches/practices
• Familiarity with local regulatory guidelines, PayNet’s guidelines, Shariah principles, and statistical reporting requirements
• Ability to team lead and work independently on audit assignments
