Manager, Performance Analyst

An exciting Manager, Performance Analyst job has just become available at a respected global financial institution based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager in Hong Kong, this is a role for a data-driven individual with Power BI, Bloomberg and Eagle knowledge.

About the Manager, Performance Analyst Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for daily performance attribution reporting of various funds and asset class for the global clients. You will preparing returns, attribution/contribution analysis, risk characteristics report of multi-assets (equity, fixed income, alternative) multi-manager funds while creating and maintaining ad hoc customised reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare performance reports to stakeholders (various regions)
• Validate numbers and data provided by back office
• Proactively research and provide insight on investment performance, deviations from benchmark; asset allocation targets and portfolio movements to clients
• Coordinate with data providers, colleagues and clients on issues relating to the quality and timeliness of data and the content of the reports

To succeed in the Manager, Performance Analyst job, you will need to have a good understanding of financial market products as well as performance attribution on analysing funds.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge in Bloomberg and Eache performance management systems
• Experience in and understanding of how to produce performance reports for stakeholders
• Self starter who takes initiative and is data driven
• An advantage if candidate is familiar with Power BI system
