What you'll do:
As the Head of Strategy & Transactions, your role will be pivotal in driving the strategic direction of our client's investment portfolio.
- Lead in originating, structuring, negotiating and executing complex transactions across various mandates
- Support the investments and other asset classes in undertaking complex transactions
- Establish wide network with external stakeholders (e.g. funds, GLICs) and potential target companies
- Act as the main point of contact for identified transactions and manage all activities relating to the transactions
- Oversee continuous review of strategic themes to ensure relevance and availability of opportunities
- Lead the identification of future investment strategy for the organisation and coordination with other asset classes
- Support all corporate strategy and development activities such as scorecard, KPI development, monitoring targets
To succeed in this role, you are required to possess experience in managing complex M&A and investments transactions.
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Head of Strategy & Transactions role, you bring a wealth of experience from your 17 years working within Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring, Corporate Finance or Strategic Investments.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other major degrees from local or overseas universities recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Passionate, resourceful and self-driven with good networking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with good analytical abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment
