About the Associate, Investment Banking Corporate Finance Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in origination and execution of corporate banking and investment banking pitches, mandates and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial analysis and financial modelling (discounted cash flows, trading and transaction comparable, pro-forma analysis)
• Undertake company and industry research through various databases (Factiva, Bloomberg, regulatory bodies, public sources)
• Preparation of pitch books for Investment Banking APAC Coverage deals and execution of mandated transactions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at the appropriate level and seniority
• Appreciation of SC or Bursa regulations such as listing rules, takeover codes, etc.
• Assist and support senior bankers in achieving the budget for IBA and securing franchise building mandates
• Maintain Customer Relationship Management database of contacts and coverage notes
• Monitor market and industry developments for deal sourcing opportunities
• Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements

To succeed in this Associate, Investment Banking Corporate Finance role, one must have minimum of two years' working experience in either a investment banking or corporate banking division.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Economics or Finance related discipline preferred or relevant banking/financial services work experience
• Displays dedication to the business, shows attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating and sharing information and solutions with colleagues, with other teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency PowerPoint and Excel
• Corporate finance/M&A and investment banking skill set is preferred
