A challenging Corporate Finance job has just become available at a locally established regional financial institution to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Corporate Finance Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the senior management within corporate finance division and implementing all corporate finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and guide officers in understanding their scope of work for each assignment
• Review all submissions and other documents prepared by the officers prior to submission to either clients and / or authorities to ensure compliance with the guidelines and regulations
• Support the Team Head and Associate Director in managing team members
• Structure CF proposals
• Ensure that the proposals, submissions, circulars, prospectuses, and other documents follow guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Maintain good working relationships with the authorities, client and other professional advisers
• Monitor the status of compliance of the conditions imposed by relevant authorities
• Ensure timely invoicing of fees and monitor the fee collection

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in both audit/corporate finance functions.

Key Requirements:

• A recognised degree in accounting, finance, business admin, economics or any relevant degree from a recognised university or equivalent professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, etc.
• Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, be independent and possesses a positive attitude
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels
