They are seeking an Analyst to join their Corporate Development team in Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll do:
As a Corporate Development Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving strategic projects with global institutions.
- Support all aspects of corporate development projects, including the identification, evaluation, development, and execution of initiatives with potential clients.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Development team, reporting directly to the Corporate Development Manager and Managing Director of the division.
- Develop financial models, business plans, presentations, and ad hoc strategic analyses for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Work with the operations team to support day-to-day tasks, including market research, cross-functional analysis, and project management of strategic initiatives.
- Lead on specific workstreams with external clients based in Middle-East, EU, SEA and US - strong initiative, ownership and accountability is a must.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Corporate Development Analyst position is someone who brings a wealth of experience from sectors such as management consulting, investment banking or corporate development.
- University degree with at least 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, venture capital or corporate development.
- Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Genuine interest in corporate development and financial services / fintech.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
