About the PR and Communications Associate role:

Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will develop and execute PR and Communication strategies that align with the overall marketing goals and objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute PR strategies that align with the company’s objectives and enhance its public image.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and sustain relationships with media contacts, draft press releases, handle press inquiries, and prepare talking points for interviews.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and promote company events such as media briefings, press conferences, and community events.
  • Story Development & Pitching: Research and create compelling, newsworthy content that highlights the company, strengthens the brand, and drives engagement across marketing channels. Craft and pitch online sales communications to attract clients for the business, elevating the brand and enhancing visibility on the website.
  • Campaign Analysis: Track, assess, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

To succeed in this PR and Communications Associate role, it is important to have working knowledge of the financial industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in sales, marketing, PR or corporate communications, with demonstrated expertise in media relations and content creation. Experience in financial services or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of media landscapes, and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and a collaborative team player with keen attention to detail.
